The fuel sender wires (light tan & light tan w/white stripe route through
the frame and up through the wall behind the furnace. They then come up to
the beltline and run up the driver side of the coach behind the driver side
wall panel. Pull out the tray in the driver side wall and look for a split
loom wire bundle. The 2 wires are in there.
Why do you think the wire is disconnected. It is more a bet that the
contacts in the fuel switch are dirty if you simple do not have a reading
on "aux". Another possibility is the sender lost ground or is bad. Find
the 2 wires where they come out of the floor headed toward the fuel
tanks. Tap into them and take them to ground. Go topside and turn the
ign. key on. If the gauge reads full in either "main" or "aux> positions,
leave the key on and disconnect the grounding jumpers. What does the gauge
say? If both positions drop to "E", your trouble may very well be in the
sender.
Hope this helps,
Jim Bounds
