We used the shower on our vacation to Florida last
May. I perfer to use the showers in the campgrounds.
My wife uses the GMC shower. We have a 74 painted
desert with a wetbath.

What shower? Took ours out last year (Royale w/ rear dry bath, now drier).
Campgrounds & sponge baths work fine. Needed the space. No complaints.

One of the reasons I like RVing is I sleep in my own bed every night, eat
in my own kitchen ever day and shower in my own bathroom every morning. I
never use the public facilities no matter where I am.
Each morning I use the shower in my '76 Palm Beach unless camped in a
relative's driveway or at my cottage. In commercial campgrounds (which I
hate, I'd rather be boondocking) I use the PB shower and my wife uses the
campground shower. Her complaint about the PB shower is the lack of
adequate hot water for shaving her legs. Since I don't shave my legs, there
is enough water and holding tank capacity for at least 2 days of showers
etc. for me before we have to dump.
I hate using campground showers due to what seems to me to be crowded and
usually not so clean facilities in the men's shower room. I'm a fairly big
guy, but I have no problem using the PB shower if I'm alone in the coach.
Admittedly, the shower I take in the PB is much different then the kind I
take at home.
I've done a fair bit of backpacking and canoeing in the past and the PB
shower is wonderful compared to the showers available out in the bush!
Keeping that in mind when using the PB shower helps ;-)

How many GMCers shower every morning in their Palm Beach style bathroom?
How many use the campground facilities?
How many have never tried an in coach shower?
Hmmmm?
Andy,
I've used mine several times. As an old Navy man I just don't see
where there is a problem. Is the PB style bathroom any different than
the Eleganza?
