Terry,

I would look at as many as possible and drive as many as possible. Also
try to figure out what floor plan you might like. Then figure out how
much you want to do. GM trained mechanics aren't necesarily trained to
work on the GMC motorhome. I only saw one, fell in love, bought it and
then found out what I had bought. If you have time and patience, do
the research. You will get lots of intelligent help here.

Terry,
If you want, I'll forward all I find in Ohio and thereabouts. There are
quite a few around that area. Will help if I can.

Terry,
Looks like I need to buy one up there and bring it to you.
I'll gather up some ads tomorrow and send them to you. Am checking on one
in WV now. Do you know what you are looking for?

My wife has announced to me that I may now buy a GMC motorhome. (We
first looked at them 25 years ago). I am open to suggestions on the
best places to look. Having been through this with motorcycles,
sailboats, airplanes and houses many times, I am simply looking for
reasonable value. As the director of an excellent vocational school, I
have reasonble know how and experience that can put almost anything in
first class condition. I am in absolutely no hurry to buy and am open
to all the advice anyone might wish to lend as well as any "leads". I
live in Ohio, but will travel to look.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Thanks a million, Roger. I am open to just about anything. I have
complete repair facilities and GM-trained technicians available along
with a welding lab, machining capabilities, electrical, plumbing, etc.,
so it is a matter of what I decide to take on.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh! Dave. He checks them out in snow country in the miserable
cold, and I go pick up his reject in good warm weather. Waiting on pics
from two so far before hitting the road. The more anxious I get, the more
honey-do's the wife comes up with.
