Air entering/exiting thur inspection cover. guess that gets air to the heat
source.

Ron: It is bolted onto the flywheel/ring gear, which means that it is no
small job to install. You have to pull the transmission to install it. If
you're up for it, I'll send it out to you if you give me an address.

maxikool cooler in place of the three tube cooler. And going to get another
sender and switch to monitor pan temps.

Ron: Can I ask a favour (note the distinctive Canadian spelling): How about
doing these installs one at a time and testing how each one affects the
temperature over a standardized route. I'd really like to see if the Ragusa
pan had any effect before you installed the maxikool, and then, what effect
the better cooler had on it. Are you running a synthetic oil (which I
understand to run somewhat cooler and to be better able to handle the
higher temperatures.

Good luck.

Scott: do you know how much your rails weigh? I'd very much like to find

frame, crossmembers etc. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks for your generous offer, But don't want to get that deep at this
point. Hopefully I'll have many more miles before any work of that type.

Vic, Will test ea. on my same test route. And put readings on net. Guess
the pan will be first, got it today. When I get to it that is. Was going to
make another Raider run, But last week lighten my wallet quite a bit, Then I
tried to make it up across the river, Which was another no-no. So even tho
the $'s are lighter, I guess our Lady will be in a rest/can work on mode for
a while now.
Thanks again for you offer!!!!! Season's Greetings to you and
yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vic,
No, still on Dino. Was going to switch, But thought I'd better see if I can
lower temps first. Since I'm looking at fluid change at closer intervals. If
all my readings are right.

Thanks again

Ron
