Just a few comments on many items.
Shocks. When I purchased my coach this last July I pulled the worn
bogies off for repairs. When I pulled the caspro shocks off the rears
they were all shot! One had a hole worn in it and was useless. The other
three were also very bad. The slop in the bogies allowed the shocks to
rub on the frame. They were on less than 10,000 miles. The caspro shock
is quite a bit larger than the others, and a tight fit. If you have any
bogie wear at all then the caspro shocks will probably end up like mine,
trashed. I do not know which shocks I will end up getting, but they will
not be caspro or other large (tight fit) diameter shock.
Carb problems. A few years ago my friend had a similar problem on his
Honda car. It would not run any faster than idle. Putting it into gear
would stall. Could not rev up, etc. He found that the fuel filter in the
carb was plugged. It had a similar filter like GM uses. Check this out
and look for any other form of obstruction that woul cause poor fuel
flow like a kinked fuel hose, pick up in tank and be sure to test the
fuel pump for pressure and flow. If you question the fuel coming from
the tanks then rig up a suitable hose to pull from a fuel can directly
to fuel pump.
Mobil 1. Vic, Here in lowly Regina SK I can purchase Mobil 1 at
Wal-Mart, Cdn.Tire, and at a bulk fuel station. Only the bulk fuel
station had the entire line of grease and oils, and were the cheapest. I
found the bulk fuel station under oil in the yellow pages under Mobil 1.
Vancouver has to have Mobil 1.
