About 26 Jan I emailed a note asking for help with a problem. I was stuck
in Park and didn't have a clue as to what to do. Response to my inquiry
helped me to find and fix the problem. (Shift cable was corroded) I now
have a new cable installed and it is amazing to me the difference and ease
of shift lever operation. With the old corroded one it was just excepted as
normal to me to be continually fighting the lever no matter what gear
selection or setting I wanted. My point to this post: Please dear friends,
don't let this happen to you, if you fight with your shift lever-get a new
