Good day,

eventually we will have the bathroom moved from the passenger side to
the driver side. Looking at AppliedGMCs web page, I find a specific tank
for the driver side

http://www.appliedgmc.com/products/full/1878.jpg

However, comparing that one to the original standard tank on the same
site, makes me wonder, what each of the opening in each of the tanks is for:

Anyone care to enlighten me?

When fitted with a single waste tank there are typically three inlets A 3 inch for the toilet and two 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inlets - one for the kitchen and
one for the bath sink and shower.
Tanks may be purchased without inlets and the owner cuts to fit and uses slip fittings.
Or the buyer provides dimensions and inlets are installed by the vendor.
One method of attachment is spin welding and a high speed router may be used for that purpose.
Hope this helps.

Dennis,

thanks.

So, Applied is selling the driver's side sewer tank with those holes
already in, whereas with the "right" side sewer tank, the buyer has to
drill the holes. Does that sound about right?

The drivers side waste tank is noted as "only one in stock"

A call or email to JimK would be advisable -- I'm sure he could provide answers and get whatever you needed.

Peer, I have replaced a number of black tanks on coaches. The plumbing to
them varies a whole lot. I prefer to bore holes as they are needed after
the tank is fastened into position. The grommet style is the most accurate
to install, and easiest to work with, if you have the hole saws.

Thanks Dennis and Jim.

I'll do some more thinking.
