The VIN on my coach is TZE366V101510. According to the title and the
reference tables, it is a 26' 1976 TransMode.

However, in section 9 of the 7725 manual (9-1), it says that changes in the
steering linkage were effective with TZE367V101393 (26' TransMode).

Can someone explain how a 1977 can have a lower sequuence number than a 1976 ?

Gee, maybe I have a 1977 (BG).

By lower sequence number, do you mean the 101393 (1977) vs. the 101510
(1976)? I believe the last 4 digits were reset at the beginning of each
model year. The 101510 would have been the 1,510th in the 1976 model run.

I'm sure that if this isn't correct logic, Dave will chime in!

>The 366 in yours means it was a Transmode (3) 26'(6) 1976(6)

In 1977 the sequence starts over 367 Transmode (3) 26' (6) 1977 (7)

The production sequence follows. All coaches had a 1 and a 0 after the V
for Pontiac.

So............. you don't have a 1977 and you don't have a Pontiac! {g}
