South East Michigan near DTW
Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio GMC Lunch Bunch.
1:00PM 22 October 2016
The first after summer event.
And the last annoying reminder.

We are going back to the:

All American Buffet
13753 Eureka Road (in the Southgate Shopping Center)
Southgate, MI 48195
Saturday Earlybird until 2:30 9.99$ (Seniors 9.25)

We are planning to bring the coach, but there is no requirement.
There is LOTS of room to park.
This is not a club event and no membership is required.
You don't even have to currently own a TZE, but we expect you to know what it is.

Hope to see you there.

Matt, I'm going to try to make it to the lunch coming from Toronto.
I don't know if I'll ever have a GMCMH but I certainly would like
to have one. Hope to see you Saturday.

Dave,

As said, all you need to have is an idea what a TZE is.
You will be very welcome, but as an actual question and on offense intended, but...

Are You Nuts???

It is a 5 Hour drive not including the time in customs both ways.
When we go to the cousins' in London, the worst part of the trip is US customs.

We will be glad to see you if you do show up.

Matt, I don't mind the drive. I drivee a school bus for a living so being by myself
will be a break. On of the Car Race Tracks I volunteer at is neat Ottawa so about the
same drive.
Hope to see you Saturday.

Dave,

I wrote Ken yesterday evening, and he is doing better.
These lunches are always a good time.
We sure covered a lot didn't we.
Speaking of which, I never did get to answer your head gasket question.
Do you have a Skype account? We could hook up evening soon and I can bore you with what you should know.

It was good seeing Paul Bartz again. I do hope his Chemo goes well, but he isn't looking to bad right now.

I'm OK.

I was just a little under the weather. After driving a little over 100 miles, I gave Mike's seats to Paul Bartz in Kalamazoo, turned around, and went
back home.

Ken, glad to hear you're OK

Matt, what I know from our conversation. Use the steel shim head gasket if
I can find one. As the engine is a"type" 3 it doesn't use a standard
440 gasket. If I can't find a steel shim type, any suggestions?
BTW, I don't have skype.

Dave, My antique McCord book is out in my barn. (It was new when I got it.)
When I can get out there, I will drag it back in.
Hit me back at so we can take this off line.
