Had one person that sent me several e-mails that I couldn't understand his=
point. I sent the e-mails to Emery to see if he could figure them out. Em=
ery didn't get his point either. Another person asked for lots of photo's. =
Asked as to what work I had done to it. And how much help did I have. I exp=
lained that I had done all the work by myself. Then he asked how many years=
did the work take. I explain that it took about 4 months. And that it wasn=
't an everyday task. Then he came back. It was impossible for one person to=
do that amount of work on a GMC. And have the job done well, and correctly=
. Then he said that it was clear to him. That I knew nothing about GMC moto=
rhomes. ( He then stated that he was an expert on the GMC's. ) And that I h=
ad no idea of what quality workmanship looked like. I explained that I ha=
d done thee times more work on our 78 Royale. That I made handicap assessab=
le for a powered wheelchair. In 5 months. Then he stated that I was a croo=
k, and stupid. My answer is simple. Everyone brings joy to my life. Some =
coming. Some going. ( GRIN ) Bob Dunahugh

Wow Bob, sure hope no one confused me ,( a recent inquired regarding
purchase ) and that weird mentioned. I found you to be one of the most
honorable sellers I have EVER encountered. it would take someone lacking
any interpersonal skills to assume anything different.
BTW, here is hoping you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Best thoughts
and wishes to you.

And going the sooner, and farther, the better.
I used to restore cars, and one of my used part suppliers in middle
California and I were talking about a similar scenario that happened to me.
He had several occasions to sell used parts to restorers, with good
results. But, when it came to potential problems with disgruntled
purchasers, he had a long standing rule that HE SAID he applied every time
he encountered it. He said that "If the voice on the phone had a Boston
type accent, and their last name ended with a vowel, he ALWAYS HUNG UP ON
THEM, AND BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER.
In my case, I should have taken his advice. Don't know if this was
the case with you.

It's been great talking to Neil. I hope he get everything going well for h=
im. My big problem is that I want this GMC to be a perfect match for the ne=
xt owner. And I'm paranoid that something will go wrong for the new owner o=
n their way home. The 78 rear suspention that I put under this GMC. Had abo=
ut 35,000 miles on it's rebuild when it was under our burned 78. Well. In m=
y mined. I had to confirm that to be true. So I pulled the rear wheel hubs =
off. So since I'm that far in. Might as well change the wheel brake cyl=
inders. Again. And grease the wheel bearings. I've got to stop. I'm asking =
$17,000. Not $25 to $30,000. There are GMC's out there. That have had all =
the work done that I've done on this one out there. But not just done. Bob=

Bob,

You will never please everyone. Don't even try. We all here
know you and most of us have met you in person at one time or
another. The work you do is first rate. Either that person
is trying to bring the price down or is just trying to feed his
ego. I've been told that I shouldn't own a GMCMH since I don't
wrench on it, but I'm learning with good teachers. I've got a
Good luck on the sale of your coach.

Bob, is this 'expert' anyone who ever posted here, or on the Facebook threads? You've priced the coach fairly a bit below market - as I did with my
23'. Directly someone will realize that value and buy it at the asking price. As did the gent who bought mine. Dickering is for dickheads, shine
that one on and wait for a true buyer.
