Quick question on the bolts used to attach seats and seatbelts. When I bought my '76 Eleganza it was gutted (thus the questions). When I put bolts
down into the floor and step (for the dinette) to hold the seatbelts I can see that there are threaded attachment points. Are these threaded
attachments all that is necessary or should the bolt come out enough to also put a washer and nut on? This will obviously affect how long of bolts I
buy. Also, can anyone confirm that the correct diameter is 1/2 inch?
Secondly, what originally held the dinette seats to the floor? Screws? Bolts? Was there an attachment bracket that perhaps I'm missing?
Thanks in advance!
