Thanks For the response Chuck!
I plan to do all except the transmission and paint Myself. Automatic
transmissions is an area I've never learned and not sure that I have
enough interest to really get into the crucial details. Painting is
something of an art I have no desire to cultivate.
Judging from what I've read here so far, this will be something of a
joint effort between me and those here who so freely share their
experiences.
To list all I want to do is too lengthy for this writing. I hope to do
something like Heinze's page describing my work as I go. I've got a lot
to learn, both about the GMC's and this computer technology. As I move
along I'll very likely ask some really dumb questions, but with a little
luck and a lotta work, I hope to become something of an asset to the GMC
world.
The main thing I'm trying to do now, is determine the specific
differences
in the unit I've found for $7k, and the bird in the bush for $4k.
