Saving Data, was Oil Filter part numbers

Marlene, If you have some space on your hard drive, another way to keep it
handy without having hunt for floppies, is to store tha data as separate
files indexed in a larger file. This makes it really easy to access and
keep updated.

I too have been saving selected data in a file that is now up to about 6.5
MB. I load it onto my very old laptop to take when we're on the road so we
don't have to pack so much paper. Hope you have the drive space.

I just don't have the extra space on my hard drive. (Older PC) so that's why
it goes on a floppy.
Besides I am PC Illerate. All self taught so there is still much I don't
understand.

Same here. Definitely a novice. I think I just got lucky doing this one ok.
Any way, however you're saving it, can you imagine what you'd have to pay
for a book with that much info (if such existed)? Isn't this site the
greatest?
