Just returned from North Dakota to Maryland.
Well, I've picked up the roof-mounted DBS satellite dish from Camping
World and over the next couple of weeks/month will pull down the front
ceiling and mount the unit. The 1977 Royale I have belonged to a flying club
and there looks to be some existing (but sealed) entrances just ahead of the
front roof seam.
I don't have a good feel on how the wiring is routed to the roof but
hopefully once some of the interior is down I'll see how I am to route the
satellite dish coax.
If anyone has had prior experience, I'd appreciate some suggestions.
I've read all of the discussion on portable vs roof mounted in the RV
newsgroups/e-mail lists and decided I want to be able to adjust the system
inside the MH, besides, who has storage room for a portable dish : )
