Has anyone had any experience with RV Roadhelp, an AllState
Insurance deal? Got a flyer from them and they are only $79.95
a year and seem to offer more services than Good Sam.

I understand that Good Sam etc will only insure coaches 10 years old or
less. Am I right?

>>Insurance cost for travel road insurance from AMOCO on all my three
vehicles is ($27.49) for six months. I had to use it once in Florida and
they reimbursed the full amount for road service.

>From other individuals I have heard Good Sam is excellent to deal with and
gives outstanding service. I don't know the 10 year limit.

My 1976 White Palm beach had it appraised for $22,500 at Bushkirk's.

Auto-Owners Insurance Comany, 6101 Anacapri Blvd, Lansing, MI 48917-3999
insures my coach for that amount in the event the unit is totaled. If you
do not have that reflected on your policy and have it totaled there are no
book values that insurance companies can refer for declaring the value.
So your value in their eyes will be low.

You have to have a signed document from a GMC motorhome facility to have
the insurance declaring the actul cash value.

From Auto Owners Insurance for six months the cost of Comprenshesive is
$39.00 Actual Cash Value not to exceed $22,500 and $97.00 for Collision -
Broad, Acutual Cash Value not to exceed $22,500.

I have additional coverage for PL and PD. The cost of that depends upon
how high to want the coverage.

Maybe some other individuals may have a better deal.

We have had it for over a year. Used 3 times, all on other cars & truck,
not on RV yet.! They have come out & picked up or changed wheel on time.

Thomas,

We have been with Good Sam for many years, three being with the GMC.
Two of those years, we really put them to the test. I think they
towed the GMC two times, had to have it pulled out of a camping
site (because of the back-end getting lower than the front, the
rains came and the mud sat, and then the tires spun. only had to
pull 2 feet), and worst of all, they had to come a get us unstuck
from a field at a friend's farm. Because this was in the country
(way in the country), and the field was way off the road, it cost
Good Sam around $400.00. They have always been wonderful.

We have learned a lot since then, but still learning.

Understand but the literature that I received said they only insure coaches
less than 10 years old. Isthis incorrect?
