If I had it to do over again I definitely would get the Rostra upgrade from you
(had I known that you had researched it, that is.) Instead, I have spent
countless hours resurrecting the O.E. system with only mediocre results to show
for it. I still have a cruise control that gradually creeps up in speed over
time, disengages when engine vacuum drops while ascending a steep grade, and
lacks a resume feature.

Is there anyone out there who has installed subject item and can tell me if
they found any use for or what they did with the gray colored wire that the
manual says is for the vehicle speed sensor signal??

Looking at the wiring diagram in the manual, it shows the optional speed
sensor tied into the wire.

Therefore, I'm assuming I can cut off the wire just beyond where the speed
sensor wire joins.
