Has anyone used the dash panel control switch that Rostra has instead of the turn signal stalk switch that most people use?
Thinking about putting it next to the Electro Level and Mirror control switches on the side panel.
Anybody tried this? Any issues?

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work as it's designed as part of their kit.

The only issue to me is why?
Seems more of a pain to have to lean up and adjust it on the dash vs just clicking the little switch on the blinker.

Not on the dash actually but on the panel to the left of the driver next to the Electro-Level switches.
It is within easy reach, no leaning required. Just have to put the coffee cup down.

Installed lots of the cruise controls when Dana and Audiovox owned that system back in the '80s & '90s before Rostra bought it. Used the dash control
many times, frequently on imports and others that otherwise would require cutting off the turn signal stalk with a bolt cutter and putting a new end
on it. The dash box has an extra wire ti connect to the dash lighting circuit. Usually used one of the blank plates on the dash leftover from
accessories not on the vehicle. Was almost always easier than fishing the wires through the steering column! Had 2 dash controls fail during the
entire time I was installing them, one was bad out of the box, the other was actually worn out. Make sure Rostra says the cruise and the controller
are compatible, as there were some controllers that operated differently for some custom cruise control packages.
