Roofing New(?)Thread

Have noticed a roofing material in Camping World catalogs EPDM Sheets
anyone ever looked into?If so any positions pro/con ? Jim

Jim:

I don't believe its anything you want for the GMC. Our roof is aluminum.
EPDM (an acronym from: ethylene, propylene, and diene monomer) is a
vulcanized rubber single ply membrane meeting ASTM D4637 standards, and is
normally used in the construction industry.

I'm aware of a few older RVs using EPDM as their roofing, but nothing
produced nowadays uses it to my knowledge.
