Troops........I now have the straight poopie for those of you who want to
change roof running lights with something very similar. As previously
mentioned Wal-Mart has the Peterson Manufacturing lights with the amber
lenses for the front. The number at Wal-Mart is V118A and they're quite
common. The trouble is, you can't get red lenses with these. Buy five more
of them for the back and then go to your local auto parts store and have
them get their "Truck-Lite" catalog out and get you five red lenses part #
99067R. They have no trouble getting them. The price of the light
assemblies is $4.18 each and the lenses are $2.75 each. Not bad for
something to take the place of the rusted out blobs that I have on top of
my coach right now..........Jim Davis on the Oregon Coast where the
temperature went up to 68 again.

I like the concept and the lights look good. I'm interested, but I'm
not going to be painting the coach any time soon.

Can I replace the old style lights with these without worrying about
the old holes showing? This would be a good time for the replacement
since I still have my headliner out and Wall Mart is only 2 miles away.

Jim got me the same running lights he put on his "dumpster"
which are real low profile. I believe they are the new GM
truck style. Real sleek.

You can see some fairly good pics of them at Jim's site.

It's too bad they are only available in amber - would love
to have a set in red.
