Rick, Thanks for the reply.I bought 3 switches.Not sure if they will work,
the salesman said they would,. said the catalog had a 10A DC rating. The
package reads Auto/Marine Toggle,however the switch is labeled 20A 120 VAC.
They are double pole/double throw. I don't know about the momentary
contact.I'm not in a big hurry so if you think i can do better by waiting on
#'s from you,if you don't mind,i will wait until the 1'st of the week... i
would like black switches if possible to match my new gauges.. It's going to
look good.....Thanks Pat M 74 PD

Pat,

You might already know this, but AC and DC ratings will always be
different. It's tougher for a switch(or breaker) to open under a DC
load because the current is continuous while AC drops to zero 120 times
a second. I don't know that there's a formula to this, but derating by
at least 50% is probably appropriate.
