The only time I've ever used Rislone was on new engines where the rings
failed to seat within a couple of thousand miles. Each time this
occurred I had rebuilt the engine using plasma-moly rings. The only
"used" engine example I cited was a 454 Chevy with 88,000 miles that had
an oil consumption problem since new. I've had no experience with using
this product to "free" stuck rings. I'd be interested to know if someone
uses it and it works.
Problem: Onan 6KW starts with remote, has to be shut down manually.
Also, anyone know if there is a replacement for the oil pressure switch
(aftermarket) or if it usually just needs tightening when leakage
occurs?
