I sort of liked Arch's list of things he did to his rig when he returned
home. I have been telling folks they should dump their HOLDING TANK
;>) when they get to their destination rather then when leaving the camp
ground. This way the tank is all mixed up and dumps better-- but I digress.
It is better to let the rig set on new oils and greases and is much better
to let the gas tanks set full. So I thought I would ask what other people
do. I could not find Arch's list , maybe he will publish it again, and I
will post the resulting list on my page.
RETURN CHECK LIST
Grease the bogies
Grease everything
Dump the Holding Tank
Shake all the steering and Shock assemblies
Torque the manifolds and drive lines
Tighten the hoses (two GMCers blew off the top radiator hose last month)
Check the belts
Drain the water tank
Clean the refrigerator and block the door open.
