Just couldn't handle the cool temps (me that is)
Went for a ride today... didn't even bother hitting the highway as temp
never above 133 in neighborhood driving. While it may very well go at
highway speeds I think a more even temp is more important and I'm guessing
that the 180 is going to be wide open as the 195 was when it's toasty and
water temps were running 208/210 as a norm.
I'm guessing that the 180 may keep it from getting to the 208/210 more often
and perhaps for not as long.
Another side nuisiance of the restrictor/cool temps was that it affects idle
as it never warms up to what's considered normal in city driving and
therefor idles fast.
I'm sticking with thermostat. 180 for next trip and then I'll decide re 180
vs 195 once more data collected.
