this is really the reason we're all here. I believe that what Arch has said
here should be required reading for every new member of this group.

My hat is off to you and all of the others who had a hand in making
this whole thing work. This has been a prime example of the power
of the net to solve problems. The person that got turned down now
has recourse to a bad decision made some where. The owner now
knows he has a staff problem. Best of all we know we are welcome
there. Thats what I like.
I sure hope all of you appreciate the fact that
we are all taking part in a revolution that will forever change most
aspects of our lives. Each of us here is defining the way this new
technology will shape our future. If you have not seen it yet this is the
information economy running at its best. This net is not about who
you are nor who I am. Its about what each of us know. I would love
to know how much money has been saved by this group. I will bet
we are worth millions. Sorry to get so academic on all of you. I spent
a good part of the morning in a scream fest with one of the vice
presidents of the university on the value of news lists like this one.
He just does not get it.
