Hi Netters

My '77 Royale needs a new toilet. Any suggestions as to which type is better?
Any good (cheap) sources?
I have a side/dry bath.

Don,
Last year I replaced my OEM recirculating toilet with the Thetford Aurora. It's
was a direct replacement for my old toilet. What I like is the fact that it is
made of china like one you would have in your house.

It took me about 20 minutes to install with odd and ends that I had on hand at
home.

If I had it to do over again I would again select the Aurora.

It's available from Camping World and Campers Choice.

Here's a link that describes it.

I don't have any suggestion as to brand but be sure to get one with the foot
flusher. It is a pain in the A-- to have to bend over to use your hand to
flush.

Don, I replaced my toilet with a new Thetford Galaxy model which I bought
off the display at the FMCA convention at Ames, IA last July. It cost
$100.00 but the parts to repair my old Galaxy were going to cost $79 so
it was a no brainer!

It is a typical two pedal job. One pedal lets water into the toilet bowl
and the other empties it.
