Replacement of HVAC with Hurricane air box

IMG_2960.webpThe ac is just below the FiTech controller being held.
It can blow hard but the blower has to be replaced and I am not sure that we got the best one. We had trouble with the drum blade wheel on the new fan.
These two screen can be split into 2 or 4 views.
Just peeking above the monitors are blind side indicator lights.
The new radio can receive and send hands free phone calls.
It is AM/FM and SatRadio ready.
It has (2) usb inlets for other sound sources.
The monitors are currently set for drover and passenger side mirror views.
The Battery Boost and Tank Switch switches are not in use. Anybody got ideas for their future use. I don't know what the amp limits are for these switches.

As much sense as that makes, I do not believe recordings are made or allowed.
@tmsnyder & @Tybalt39: following the change in GMCMI's management structure a couple of years ago, and my new role as volunteer GMCMI video producer and marketing lead, I now record all technical sessions for any rally that I can make it to. The goal is to post them on the next iteration of the GMCMI website.

Once the "new" GMCMI website is launched (no timeline for development or launch date as yet), I expect the tech. session recordings will be made available to members soon thereafter. Each video will start with a legal disclaimer and will contain other pop-up warnings throughout.

If you are attending next month's rally, please come and say hi. I will be at the back of the room where the tech. sessions are to be held next to the large camera and tripod setup.

Took the first check out drive yesterday with Jacob.
Nice cold air was blowing well out of all the vents, even when the engine was shut off. It was a pleasure not to need the engine running for the air conditioning compressor to operate, the blower push air well or the condensing coil fan to run.

Ah, cool. Someday perhaps!

I know in the past, audio recording of the seminars, including audio+video, has been explicitly forbidden.

Ok, I guess I'm Forum incompetent, looking around forum for info on Traverse City meeting and no luck.
Will somebody with knowledge of the seminar post the contact info so I can sign up.
Thanks
Jeff

The cockpit is coming together.
Screens galore!

The little screen in the center is for the Assistive Driver's System.
The two white LED lights are blind side warning lights.
I got in the coach before dawn this morning to check if the lights were all working. All were except for the low beam LED headlights on the passenger side. Got ti=o fix that.
The iPad can answer and send calls. So can the radio. The iPad will be the GPS using Maps.
The nicest thing is that the dash air-conditioning started blowing quite hard and cold and I had not started the engine yet. What a pleasure.
Air was coming out all of the vents. Nice.
The right sun shade monitor is not yet operational and it is for a forward view from the passenger's seat.
It appears that the steering wheel is a bit to the left, but it works for me. I only have a functional left eye and the wheel is pretty much aligned with my only seeing left eye. It prevents parallax error causing a drift to the right.
It took a long time to get to this point.

While the convention in Traverse City is "sold out", there may be individuals that have had to cancel and would be willing to sell their registration. Contact the convention manager Mike Kociela at mike@westwardent.com
