You can't believe how much 'fun' this is adding as I work to create a
searchable summary. Getting software to burst these messages apart
accurately is a problem, and one that I haven't been able to solve. I may
end up sending the whole lot out for humans to do this.
I don't want to seem like a whiner, but it would be helpful if you could
selectively thin the original message a little bit when you reply.

I've now got over 8,700 messages in the search database. When you get a
result of your search by keyword or concepts, the identity of the original
writer is sometimes lost forever. Re-embedding the e-mail address of the
sender is another problem that isn't yet solved.
Just an update on my progress. And a side note for you gear heads: I also
need to get ht://dig to like RH Linux a little better, and not have quite so
many other projects going all at once.
