"I get a little flow from the upper center outlet on AC,
almost none from the lower center, almost none from
the right outlet, and none from the driver's side. I have
considered taking the dash out to see if I can find out
what's wrong but it looks like a big job and I don't
see how it comes off. I would appreciate some help."
David the ducts probably are leaking so that the
air is conditioning the underside of the dash.
Just a word of warning though. It can be a big job
and one I would not recommend undertaking
at this time if you intend to go camping this summer.
Step 1 remove windshields so that the small
fasteners at the front of the dash can be
accessed.
Step 2 remove dash
In my case I decided the time was right because
both windshields needed to be changed anyhow.
This Thursday I expect to permanently install the
2nd 1/2 windshield.
The coach has been apart for more than a month
(although during that month I did reinstall the old
windshields once so that I could go camping)
Not only do the ducts now work properly but I also
completed:
- - repair dash and side panels
- - repaint dash and side panels
- - recover dash
- - replace front floor
- - install brackets to improve on P.O. connection of seats to floor
- - install drivers Onan controls
- - install speakers to side panels
- - install new stereo and CD changer
Not all of the above work was planned to have
happened at this time, however when I tore the
dash apart..........................improved access
with parts spread all over............................seemed
the right time.
