Relay Lever

Has anyone experienced the bolt that holds the relay lever in bottoming out?

The relay lever moves up and down about .100”, but when it’s removed from the coach and held in the vice, it’s completely static in the up/down plane.

This happened when I put it in, and when Alex Ferrara put it in as well.

The intermediate rod is completely parallel, so putting a washer under the relay lever would put it out of parallel. Putting it on the top would seem logical.

Any input is appreciated.

Dolph,
There is the inner shaft that is machined to limit the vertical clearance.
