Good morning,
A few weeks ago I posted on removing my front headliner and got it out easily, in 3 pieces. I was removing it to put in backer boards to screws my outside fiberglsass sun visor to since the front screws pulled out. I swear it looked like it was put down with plumbers putty to fill gaps other than it was a little elastic, but it melted with mineral spirits like plumbers putty and the yellow color. Has any one installed one with plumbers putty or something else. I hate to use anything real super strong because they have to come off to replace windshields and this putty was bad enough. By the way has anyone got Jim Bounds latest email, maybe he has put on a few, I think he put this one on originally.
By the way I'm replacing the headliner with a new one I'm picking up Wednesday from Sirrum GMC.
Thanks,
Skip Hartline
