What kind of refrigerator are we discussing here?
I have a Norcold three way, and The eyebrow or the top piece with the
lights was recalled by Norcold. It seems that the eyebrow for the 110
was causing fires.
My refrigerator quit all of a sudden twice. First time I had a pin hole
leak and you could smell the ammonia. How or why this happened is
anybody's guess. Repair bill was about 1/2 the cost of a new one! But
the refrigerator looked good and was always good to me so I repaired
it. Besides it is hard to find one that fits any more without some
modifications. The second time I was on a slight incline for a few
days and developed a bubble in the system, I was on propane at the time.
I have assisted several friends who live in the mountains and they have
propane refrigerators, we have had to turn them over to get the bubble
out of the system.
