Currently, I have 2 towing plans. One is included with my GMC's insurance with Nationwide with a Roadside Assistance limit of $2,000. I also have
Allstate. I used to have Coach-Net. I like having 2 different towing packages for my GMC.

I dropped Coach-Net when I changed my insurance carrier a few years ago because of their included roadside assistance package. I was in the middle of
the year with Allstate.

Today, I decided to dump Allstate (because of some bad things I heard about them here) and go back with Coach-net because of my previous good
experience with them. I went to Coach-Net's website to sign up and found that there seems to be only one roadside assistance plan for $249.00.
Apparently, they have bundled a number of things I do not require, such as an RV Technical Hotline, Nationwide Tire Delivery Services, Concierge
Travel Services, Trip Planning, Emergency trip interruption, Discounts on RV insurance, Thousand Trails Camping programs, RV lifestyle accessories,
hotels/motels, car rental etc. etc." with their towing plan.

I am especially not impressed with their "RV Technical Hotline" which they say "is available 24/7. Our technicians can guide you through many common
operational issues you might experience." I seriously doubt that their Hotline would be any help with my GMC breaking down on the road.

I only want roadside assistance and towing.

Am I wrong here about Coach-net doing away with the roadside assistance only option?

Hmmm... I would give them a call. I have the Premier Coach 1 Year Plan. I originally joined in Feb 2016 and renewed in Feb 2017 and it was $149 both
years. I went in to renew for 2018 and it was still $149. Give them a call.

Thanks for the response. I'll give them a call on Monday.

I called Coach-Net today. If you renew a current membership, the price can be $149 for a renewal. However, since my previous membership expired in
2014, I was told that my membership can no longer be renewed. Consequently, I would have to start over again at $249/year. After the first year, she
said I could then renew at either $149 for the Premier Coach 1 Year Plan you have or go with one for $79 for a basic membership that covers only the
coach.

Sounds like I would have to pay a $100 premium to be where I was before. Not sure what I should do here since I still have coverage from Allstate that
provides "Unlimited benefit is for towing to the nearest service facility and/or for minor on-site labor". It does not say to "closet qualified
service facility" which means they could try and send me to Bubba's RV repair unless I tried negotiating with them to send me elsewhere. Allstate is
$114.95/year.

Coach-Net says "No mileage or dollar amount limits no out of pocket expense when towing your disabled vehicle to the nearest qualified repair
facility." I used the "nearest qualified repair facility" language to get a tow to my driveway over going to Bubba's RV Repair.

The language for the Roadside Assistance coverage I have through my GMC's Agreed Value policy states "We will pay for towing to the location of your
choice up to 100 miles from the location of the disablement". No mention of "nearest service facility".

Richard,

You've probably heard me say it before, but I'll repeat: I've had
excellent support from Allstate's RVRoadhelp. I DO have to insist that
they understand that the "nearest service facility" MUST be someone that's
Willing, Able, and Experienced enough with 73-78 GMC Front Wheel Drive
motorhomes. Otherwise, it's NOT a "service facility". I challenge them,
politely, to verify that anywhere they want to send me meet the WA&E
criteria. I also offer them a list of facilities known to meet that
criteria, such as Applied GMC, Ken Frye, Alex Sirum, etc. If the agent on
the line can't comply with that request, I politely request to speak to
their supervisor. I have, on occasion, gotten to do that, but generally
they're told to settle my problem and move on to someone else.

The last time, after they were ready to have me towed to Okeechobee, some
509 miles, I offered to let them take me here, only 107 miles. That time,
they insisted that I had to go to a "repair facility", and recognized that
"Henderson's Garage" was at my home address. So, I request that they tow
me to Beaver Racing Engines, my now-GMC-owning friend's shop. Since they
were able to look that up on line, they agreed. The tow driver was glad to
drop me off two miles short of his assigned destination since it got him
home about 5 minutes earlier.

During the numerous times I've used Allstate since about '93, I've never
had less than excellent service, 'though it's sometimes cost me a lot of
patient arguing. And I've never, not once, heard one single syllable from
them after an event -- even when I fully expected a cancellation notice
(especially after the 384 mile tow in 2013 from Tupelo, MS to home).

Ken,
You gave me some food for thought. Based on your comments, it appears that it is possible to negotiate with Allstate to get similar service to what I
enjoyed with Coach-net.
