Finally spoke to Paul Bennett in Columbia SC. Paul is a GMCer himself
and sells Gemco hitches on the east coast. The Gemco hitch comes in
three versions. One ends flush with the bumper. The second extends
past the bumper about four inches. The third is designed for the rear
storage pod and extended bumper. Contact info is:

Thanks to Roger Umber, who provided the last piece to the puzzle. With
the Blossom St. address, I was able to successfully find a correct phone
number.

BTW, I believe Gemco(actually another GMCer cottage business) is now
located in Columbiaville, MI.

Just my luck! I go to all that trouble to track Paul Bennett down and
today I get the March GMCMM and he's got an ad on page 28 for jack pads
and air bag lifters.

Not yet. I'll know for sure when I get my hitch as they are shipped
direct from Gemco.
