I'm reading the December issue of "RVIA Today" and I see an ad
for the Voyager LCD Rear Vision system from ASA.

BW or color camera, screen is LCD and mounts to sun visor.

Don't know pricing, but info is available at their Website:

http://www.asa-avx.com

Click on "Products" and then "RV/Motorhomes/Towables"

If you don't already know about it, it might be of interest to those
wanting a compact, color rear vision system. They have some other
interesting products related to mobile electronics.

Once you check it out at their Website, you'll know everything about
it that I do.

Stay tuned. Just got a call about a new camera with reverse imaging and
a flat 4 inch plasma display. Will get prototype in a couple of
months. Hope to get it set up so we can get a buy if we get more
units. Cost, less that 300 or so... don't know yet. Camera is very
small, and the plasma display will not impair our vision .... anyway,
will provide more when I get units to try.

I'm looking forward to it Al. The flat panel display is very desirable to me.

Al:

I wonder about the usefulness of a 4" screen?

Last month I stopped by a Radio Shack to compare the difference between a 5"
and 7" TV screen images. Wasn't impressed with the 5" at that point.

Cant tell you since I have not seen it. I know the new panels are far brighter
and better than earlier models. When I get it, I can assess whether it does
provide a better image. I rather like the smaller size as I can install it
where it won't be in the way, and will provide my view. I think the larger the
screen, the more room it takes up.
Will get more and will provide some pics when it does come in. Then we can
decide if that's what we need.
