I dont know if I am allowed to do this but here goes. I am new to GMC
fatherhood having recently acquired a 76 PB. I am learning from reading
your posts but I have a question that hasnt been covered. My GMC has
some circular rails on each rear wheel that appear to be a stablizing
system. It may be the Accuride IV system mentioned in a newsletter.
But the bearings that ride in the rails are missing.Should I replace
them or has it been decided that they are bad and should be removed?
(all four are missing indicating that they have been removed) Thanks.

web site that shows the Accuride system and probably can help you.

Unfortunately I don't have Manny's URL at home and won't be back in my
