A simple bullet proof method to determine if the rear battery is also a
house battery is too temporally disconnect the front house battery
(disconnect both front batteries if in doubt which is house battery) &
see if the house still has power/lites (shore power disconnected). This
assumes the rear battery has enough charge to run the house lites.
I have never seen a Royale or late 26' model (later than '74) configured
w/o rear House battery ( I don't want to debate this statement..I know
that some odd stuff has occurred with many coaches). This statement
excludes the Trans Mode models & the Odd stuff that some have that could
be special configuration (not factory configuration).
Try it & let us know results !!!
