Seeing there were several asking about fender flares,I'll tell a little
about mine. I have never liked the T skirt too well, partly because it
makes it harder to stay aware of exactly whats going on in that area and
also because of looks. Some aftermarket flares close the rear wheel area
in so much that ,they almost make the area inaccessable.I had seen some
coaches with horizontal flares and I liked them, but at the time couldn't
find a source.
So after some discussion and consultation with one of the original GM
design artists, I designed what I consider a very nice looking and
fitting, set of horizontal flares for the rear wheel area. In my
opinion, they augment the lines and appearance of the coach, they keep
the ultraviolet rays off the air bags, and they keep the area open enough
so that it is easy to see and inspect the air bag, grease the pins, check
the tires etc.
I had not anticipated the amount of time and effort in designing and
creating them, so am now marketing a few more to try and recoup a bit of
my expense ect. If any one is interested in finding out more about these
fiberglas flares they can contact me directly. They look very nice.
