Rear discs, was bleeding brakes

After you talk to TSM, might I ask if you could post their response for
those of us who are running up to the disc conversion?

Please post the answe/reply when availabler... me too with braided lines.

Still working on it. The "tee" block on the rear is the stumbling point.
Looks like we're gonna' have them made out of brass.

I'm not real thrilled with the tee that TSM uses. You have to drill out
the mounting hole and bend the tab 90 degrees to make it fit. In
addition, it uses adaptor fittings to go from an inverted flare to an AN
flare - this could be avoided by putting inverted flare fittings on the
hose. The one we're having made will be a duplicate of the original in
brass with swaged ends. I thought earlier that we would use threaded
connectors, but I've been advised by the supplier(with confirmation from
another source) that this is not desireable.

Right now I've got the new hoses on the front(80mm calipers) and the TSM
hoses on the rear. I wasn't planning to "announce" anything until I had
tried the hoses all the way around on my coach. Hopefully, we'll be
able to start producing the rears in less than a month. These things
should be "lifetime" hoses; internal teflon tube surrounded by a polymer
coated kevlar sheath and external SS braid. Will be available in OEM
and upgrade variations.

Enough! This is starting to sound too much like a commercial and I
didn't want to go there yet! If this thing doesn't come through,
then I'll have the first example of "vaporware" brake lines. :o)
