While we're discussing 12V electrics. Does anyone know the routing of the battery cable going to the rear batteries from the boost solenoid in an
Eleganze II? I note that mine is growing green grot around the connector crimp, and the insulation has hardened and is flaking. Truly an excuse for
a fire, so it's up for replacement. It appears to run directly to the rear solenoid in the genset compartment. Once I confirm this I'll cut the ends
and replace it with a run of large capacity welder's cable (which I can source from Craigslist). If I can remove the old one I will, but if it's
runbehind the walls and through the ribs of the coach it will remain in place. The new one will run along the driver's side frame rail.
