Re Oil filter leak

You already have the gasket you need! Next time you start to change oil and
filter, remove the rubber-like gasket from your old filter and use it to
replace the gasket above. That was where the filter was located before GM
diverted the oil to the cooler located in the radiator.

Do it every other time you change the oil filter. That $0.00 part cost me an
engine. It's easy to do and as I have said before every one should have it
done.

Lots of info and help on this good-ol GMCnet!! Which makes it easier to keep
