I was getting ready for my maiden voyage later this week when I noticed =
a gas leak behind the front drivers side tire. Fixing it only involved =
replacing a short hose - no problem. But in the process I found that =
the fuel line had been modified as follows:

From the selector valve from the 2 tanks the line goes into an electric =
fuel pump. From the fuel pump the line works its way up to the front of =
the engine to a canister of some type. That canister feeds thru a steel =
line to the carb. Out of the canister is a second line that winds =
around the back of the engine and is fed back into the metal tube that =
is used to fill the gas tanks from the fuel door. (This is the piece =
that was leaking). According to the manuals, this is not an original =
setup. In addition, the vapor canisters at the rear wheels and engine =
compartment have all been removed. =20

Does this setup sound like it's OK or are there potential problems that =
I should be aware of?
