We are having alot of rodent problems here in So. Ca. this year because
of the unusually dry winter. I live on a canyon. Rats are looking for
water or moisture. I park one of my GMCs outdoors and am trying to
figure out how a rat (s) is getting in. Does anyone know the most likly
path in? I keep all windows closed and the hatch cover down but still
find rat droppings. I'm now at war with this guy, with sticky boards,
poison and traps. I feel like the guy in Caddyshack with the gopher. I
know one of you Floridians must have the answer(s) with all the rats you
guys have. I have an electronic chirper but it has proven to be
worthless in keeping them away. I was thinking about building an
electricution box with a neutral plate and a hot plate for this guy to
stand on at 110 volts. Trouble is after he fries I don't have a way to
turn it off quickly. I see a comercially one available on the net that
runs on batteries and a coil. What are you guys doing and how can you
at least seal the interior of the coach from rats?
Any help would be appreciated.
