I found rot. So, there could be a floor repair in your future.
Here's how to remove the ramp:
1. remove any carpet etc that covers the area. I cut ours off at the end of
the ramp towards the front of the RV.
2. remove wood screws around the periphery of the ramp.
3. if you have a dinette "scoket" int eh floor, remove it too.
4. pry the ramp up - it should come up with a very small amount of
pressure. Mine wouldn't budge. So, I cut two holes using a hole saw in two
diagonal corners and used the holes to get a better grip and leverage.
When you have ramp out check carefully for rot or other water damage. I
recommend probing with an ice pick or awl. To check the floor press firmly
down with the pick. Solid plywood should allow the point to penetrate a
very small distance and provide significant resistance. Rot may be severe
enough to aloow the pick to easily and completely pentrate the wood. Probe
several areas on the floor, especially along the ater tank side and the
rear of the ramp. Hopefully you'll have no problems!
