Judy are home and somewhat rested from our whirlwind GMCWS 6 day rally at
7- Feathers Indian Casino RV Resort in Canyonville, Oregon. Judy and I were
tasked with cooking and serving breakfasts for the group, WITH THE VERY
CAPABLE HELP OF THE GMC CASCADERS Club members. Up at 5:00 am every
morning, at the Clubhouse at 7:00 AM to get the gallons of steaming hot
coffee prepared for the bleary eyed membership a bit the worse for wear
from the frivolity of the night before ( I have stories, but, ).
Lots of fellowship at these rallies, folks you have come to think of
as extended family. Some highly skilled tech seminars from talented and
gifted presenters, daytime excursions to Oregon Forests, rivers, Winston
wildlife safari, Oregon wineries, Casino nightlife, clubhouse games, and
the list goes on.
Then, a bit sadly, it is a whirlwind of tent folding, last minute
cleanup, goodbyes that you don't really want to happen, and that last drive
through the RV park amongst all those empty spaces where GMC motorhomes
were just brief hours before, then, back on the road again, scattered like
where the 4 winds blow us. Till next time.

Jim H.:
Sounds like you guys had a Gr8 rally.
We are in Mansfield, Ohio @ the GMCMI convention - for another day or so then back on the road also.
Go home and get some well earned rest - sounds like you earned it!

Western States is 100% Volunteer Organization, so it takes dedicates people
like Jim and Judy to take the lead and organize the breakfast for the week.
We had lot of people that joined in to make it a great Rally.
