Look Look at the pros and cons of the Ragusa aluminum pan versus the
external tranny cooler and oil filter/ temperature gauge.

The Ragusa pan adds some cooling and adds about 1 quart of fluid for about $150.

The external heavy duty perma-cool fan assisted oil cooler at $131(500 CFM
fan) and external perma-cool oil filter @$78.95 for a total of $209.95 or
get the external B&M or summit tranny filter instead for $26.95 for at total
cost of $157.95. You increase the tranny fluid about 2 additional quarts,
and get superior filtering of the oil (and never have to drop the pan again
to change the fluid, just change the external filter),and superior
controlled cooling.

Still what I am going to do. My personal opinion is that $ for $ there is no
comparison between the two.

It is hard to beat that ball burnished GMC step they sell compared to
even a free tranny cooler/oil filter whatsit gizzmo...
