Bill,
There are no replacement masts for the origional base to my knowledgr.
Does the antenna pick up any AM stations right now, if so it is still
working. You may have trouble with the radio.
If you do decide to replace the antenna, I use a fiberglass mast Ford
square base black antenna. You can find one at most any car stereo shop in
your area. You may have to modify the "grab tabs" a bit because of the
thickness of the roof (2 layers of aluminum) at the hole.
I would also not trust the origional feed that is routed through the center
post of the windshield. I run a new 144" extension down the driver side
behind the "A" frame windows and route it to the dash. If you hold your
mouth right, you can do all of this without dropping the headliner cap.
