I learned in my research that the interior oil cooler in the radiator
has not been manufactured in about ten years. When I got contamination
in the oil from the spun rod bearings I had to change out the cooler to
an exterior one. It makes sense if you think about it to keep as much
cooling outside the hot water too! I have not noticed a great deal in
temperature drop on the guages but it is now bearable to the touch.
