i replied...but guess im invisible....my 78 EII has factory steel baffles on
either side of rad. with rubber baffles attached....

My '77 Kingsley has two 'guides' on each side of the radiator with flat
rubber strips that almost touch the grill.

It's a factory item that was added to the later coaches. I do not know
when they
were added but my 77 has them also.

Jim,
Your're not invisible, your msg was about half a page down from where I
answered. I guess this means that once again the factory has beaten me
to it. Thanks for the input. I'm going to build some baffles soon.

Jim,

answered. I guess this means that once again the factory has beaten me

They are original equipment. Of course, I've customized one of them...

Several years ago I had one off to repair an enlarged mounting slot, one of
the screws had came out and the one left wasn't in good shape. Our dog got
ahold of it while I wasn't paying attention. It ended up in a pile of
leaves. My wife burnt the leaves (and the air guide) taking the rubber off
the steel. It smoked real good.

I put what was left back on. I think the reduction in weight improved my
mileage. .

I can't answer your question re. Frank, but John Wright is producing a real
nice spoiler that attaches on the radiator base. Address and pictures were
posted just last week. Fiberglass spoiler mounted with aluminum bracing.
