regarding the proper charge of a converted system. No one else on this list
has any experience with charging a converted system? I have read the posts
regarding 80% of R-12 in lbs. but that doesn't leave me with much in a top
it off situation. Like I said, so far I have added 1lb and it's blowing 60
degrees out the duct. There is definitely a good stream if bubbles in the
sight glass. According to my research on the ac sight, many have said
bubbles should be present and an equal amount has said the opposite. Has
anyone on the list gone through this procedure? Seems like a drag that
every time you need to top off your system it would require a complete
evacuation and recharge. Is 60 degrees in the driveway all I should
expect?
