Bill,
Some non-GM interiors do have propane water heaters but we have an
Eleganza II and wanted a propane water heater. Finding a location for the
six gallon Atwood we had was difficult. It is now under the sofa on the left
side about a foot in front of the furnace. The sofa had to be raised three
inches which makes it more comfortable and was a bonus. About 13 inches had
to be cut out of the metal frame of the seat part of the sofa and it
reinforced. There are three vertical aluminium beams in the wall below the
window, two of which have to be trimmed or one removed to fit the heater
through the fibreglass wall. Propane and water connections are very close.
Either water heater can be used depending upon the hook-ups.
